As most of you know, I’m no longer afraid of anything, so I decided to really give entrepreneurship a try and start my own “Natural Product” line. This project is near and dear to my heart because after being diagnosed with Lupus I began to realize how we hurt our bodies and don’t even realize it. I have been experimenting with natural products for the last three years and when it comes to my skin care I only use natural products (body oil, body bath, scrubs and the list goes on). I am very excited about this project and have tried it out at a couple of parties and outings and received nothing but outstanding reviews. I would have to say most people fall in love with my “Loving Me” line and I wonder why, it’s a little inside joke, because it’s nothing like loving yourself.. Blog With Me!!!!
Hey Everyone Xo!!! What a lot of people don’t know about me is I was truly born to be an entrepreneur. I mean entrepreneurships run through my veins. I have had so many amazing ideas since I was a teenager, but I never acted on it. I was afraid of being successful. I know what you’re thinking, how can that be? Well you will be surprise at how many people are afraid of success, afraid of putting their thoughts and projects out there to the public because of fear of rejection or fear of God taking you to the next level.

When you look up the definition of a Boss this chick’s picture should be all you need to see. I don’t idolize anyone but God, but I respect and admire Beyonce’s work ethic. Just four months after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy she's at it again and giving people the BUSINESS. She put on a show last night at the Revel in Atlantic City that would normally take two months to plan and she did it in just two weeks.
Rumor has it she gave everyone their money’s worth, performing 27 songs and numerous costume changes. You would think that going from Sasha Fierce to Momma Fierce would slow her down, not at all. She managed to step up her game a notch or two and I was definitely one that thought that was impossible to do. Go “B”… Blog with me!!!! The cover reads, "Meet Your New Role Models: Kandi, Tamar, Evelyn & Chrissy". The first time I seen the cover of the June/July Vibe Magazine, I quickly thought "Are you freaking kidding me?". Who comes up with this mess? Yes I Am My Sister's Keeper and yes I made a promise not to say anything bad about another women, but when you're saying this is who my young sister's should consider as their new role models I have to say "Stop It".
I'm not going to go into each and every detail of why I don't think they should be considered role models because, all four of these women have amazing talents, and have a true understanding of business, but I wouldn't say I consider them to be the complete package of a role model. Nor do I believe entertainers are role models, or they should have the responsibility of teaching our children right from wrong. I believe a parent is a child's first role model, and it's their job to help their children distinguish the difference between idolizing someone and respecting their craft. I do think it's our job to say what's acceptable on TV and what isn't. You can do this by simply not watching and supporting these shows. To be honest I can count on one hand how many times I watched "Atlanta Housewives", "Basketball Wives", or "Love and Hip Hop" each and every time I watched one of these shows, I turned off my TV feeling drained and angry. This is exactly why you have to be careful of what you allow to enter your mind. I must admit I am a fan of the "Braxtons", and that's my personal preference although Tamar is off the chain.com. The show isn't about constant drama, and I actually find it pretty humorous. This comes from a person who only allows herself to watch a hour or two of TV a day. I wish each and everyone of these women, the best of luck in all that they do. Do I consider them "ROLE MODELS"? In the words of the late great Whitney Houston... Did you really think I was going to say it? Well you know what I really wanted to say, but I'll take the higher road and say NOT AT ALL!! Blog with me!!! Successful leaders bring out the most productive feelings in those around them. You don’t have to have this amazing title to be a leader. Most nourishing parents are leaders, they are teaching their children so many different life skills like their self-worth, how to nurture their own abilities, how to read, how to write, how to love, and how to respond to adversities.
Leadership does not only relate to the elite. I have been fortunate enough to have had a front row seat to see some of the best leaders at work. It has always amazed me how some people can have the same title, and work with the same people, but one is liked so much more than the other. What make them so different? Some people have natural leadership skills and some acquire them along the way. I once worked for a company that started out with 75 employees, and quickly grew to over 5,000 people in less than 3 years. Now that wasn’t the amazing part, the amazing part was the C.E.O. knew everyone’s name and would greet you every day by saying "Good Morning so and so” with a big smile on his face. He made you feel like you were part of the company. Even during big meetings he would say things like, "This is our company" when he could have easily said “this is my company” and it would have been the truth. The bottom line is; he made you feel like you was part of the team, and he was no better than you or I, even though he was the C.E.O. and his salary was more than some will make in a life time lol. He never made you feel that way. He possessed true leadership skills. Every day each and everyone of us, is faced with an opportunity to take lead either in our private or public life. Most of us have been leaders most of our lives and don't even know it.. Blog With Me!! This is why I do what I do! I have three amazing children. My oldest daughter DeAnna just graduated from college, my middle son will be graduating from military school next year, and my youngest is just enjoying life.
Oh!! I forgot to mention I was a teenage mom. Who's a statistic not "I". Life can deal us some serious blows, it's up to us to get up, wipe ourselves off and get right back in the game. This is a quote I love and live by "Faith in God makes thing possible, not easier". So as long as I have faith in my heavenly father, I know I can get through and do anything. So what it may take some time or a little bit of pain and suffering. I'm wise enough to know everything in Gods timing. Not Chloe's timing but Gods. Ok! So why start a blog when I'm working on so many other writing projects? The answer is pretty simple, because I love writing and sharing information, but I also dislike being confined to writing and showing only one part of who I am. I’m so much more than a Motivational Speaker, Author and life Coach. I’m a woman who enjoys life to the fullest. I’m a mom, girlfriend, entrepreneur, daughter and sister to some amazing women. I also have several interest that I don’t get to talk about when I'm motivating people to simply be and love themselves with all their heart and soul. Well, that's over with "Living My Life Like It's Golden" gives me the opportunity to talk about everything Chloe, my love for fashion, hair, makeup, teaching, being a naturalista, home design, travel, ballet, jazz, poetry, cars, basketball and learning new things. So Welcome to Chloe Womack “Living My Life Like its Golden”. This is not a dress rehearsal people. LIVE, LOVE AND LAUGH.

AuthorChloe Womack is the name, and I'm living my life like it's GOLDEN. Too bad I can't sing! God has blessed me with a host of other talents to make up for it. I'm an Author, Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, and Radio Host. So why did I decide to write a Blog? Because there are so many other parts of Chloe that I would like to share. Sometimes I just want to take off the work clothes, and makeup and just be me. So here it is, WELCOME TO MY WORLD! Archives
