Juicing is the best thing I have ever done for myself. The first time I juiced, I kept thinking "How am I going to drink this nasty juice for 5 days?", well surprise, surprise it wasn't as bad as it looked. It actually tasted pretty good. The first day I started with only drinking the mean green juice, but by day 2 I was really craving something sweet so I made "Strawberry Pineapple Juice" and it was simply amazing. If you don't like sweet juice than the mix strawberry pineapple is not for you. Maybe you can try carrot and beet juice, it's not as sweet.
The only side effect I had was a little constipation (T.M.I.) but you can get rid of that by drinking plenty of water. You have to remember: You're juicing and using all fruits and vegetables, but you're not getting a lot of fiber because, you're not eating the whole fruit you're only getting the benefits of the juice. Juicing is completely different than water fasting or the master cleanse. I never tried the water fast, but I was on the master cleanse diet for 14 days. For the first three days I was miserable. I have to admit that I had more energy and felt a lot healthier juicing than doing the "Master Cleanse".

2 Green Apples
1 piece of ginger
